A warm welcome to Grantham State School!
As Principal of Grantham State School I would like to extend a warm welcome to those visiting our website for the first time and welcome back to all others.
This website is designed to acquaint families with the facilities provided at this school, the organisations and associations supporting it and other various items relating to school procedures.

Piano and Instrumental Music Programs! |

We are pleased to announce that Grantham State School is now able to offer our students piano lessons and an instrumental music program. All lessons take place on Wednesdays. Students from all year levels are welcome to participate in piano lessons, while clarinet, trombone and trumpet lessons are open to students in Years 5-7. If your children are interested in having lessons, please contact the school for further details. |

AASC at Grantham State School this term |
On Monday and Tuesday afternoons this term from 3:15 to 4:15 we will be running the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program. This Australian Government program is run by the Australian Sports Commission and provides opportunities for primary school children to participate in free sport and other structured physical activity, after school.
This term a diverse and dynamic AASC program has been put together for children to enjoy including hockey (Monday) and dance (Tuesday). The activities focus on increasing physical activity and improving skills in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
To ensure children can take advantage of this excellent opportunity, we encourage parents to allow them to participate for the full hour and to pick them up after the program concludes.
